BYOD Program
This program empowers students to lead their learning by integrating personal devices into the classroom. This program enhances digital literacy, collaboration, and engagement while providing access to online resources and tools. With clear guidelines and support, BYOD ensures technology enriches the educational experience for all.

School Device Program
From 2025 Woodville High School has partnered with the Department for Education to provide students on School Card with a laptop in Year 7 and 10.
The school operates a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. We recommend a MacBook Air Laptop with AppleCare+ as our preferred default device if parents are looking to purchase.
This new Device Program forms part of the Departments 2023-2026 Digital Strategy. The program addresses inequality, improved device access and quality. When your application is approved, our Finance team will notify the IT Department and they will organise a device for your child at no cost.
Software
Woodville High School uses Google Apps for Education.
If you choose to buy a MacBook here is a list of software that comes with it pre-installed. They will be given access to this on their first day. Software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe CC and other is provided by the school when required by the subject teacher. You do not need to purchase anything additional while your child is at the school.
