Learning hub
The Learning Hub at Woodville High School is a vibrant space for collaboration, study, and discovery. Equipped with modern resources and technology, it supports students in achieving academic success. Offering tutoring, research tools, and quiet study areas, the Learning Hub fosters independent learning, creativity, and a love for knowledge in every student.
The Learning Hub is a dynamic space where tradition meets innovation.
The Learning Hub is a dynamic centre of innovation and inquiry, designed to enrich student learning through the purposeful integration of digital technologies and a strong focus on literacy. It fosters a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and deep thinking, empowering learners to explore complex ideas, solve real-world problems, and engage in meaningful inquiry.
By nurturing both creative and critical thinking, the Hub equips students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. It features cutting-edge resources such as our Virtual Reality Lab and Green Screen Room, alongside a dedicated Fiction Room; an inviting space that encourages a love of reading and provides access to a diverse collection of books to spark imagination and support literacy development.

Device Borrowing
Ensuring access for all, the Learning Hub also serves as a hub for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. Each morning, students can borrow devices and troubleshoot technical issues with the support of our dedicated IT team, ensuring that every learner is ready to engage with their learning.
Workshops
The Learning Hub frequently hosts interactive workshops and team-teaching incursions designed to inspire hands-on learning. Whether analysing artefacts over a century old or experiencing trench warfare through virtual reality, these sessions bring learning to life in powerful and memorable ways.
Teachers work with our Learning Hub and Pedagogical Leader to design engaging incursions that will make learning memorable. We utilise a station based learning approach to allow students multiple opportunities to transfer their learning.
