Welcome to the Senior Years
The journey from Year 10 to 12 is an exciting one for every young person and we feel very honoured to be part of it with you. We believe that the journey should be one that is enriching, inspiring and where every senior school student will cultivate the capabilities, skills and dispositions that will enable them to thrive as they navigate an ever-changing world.
Welcome to the Senior Years
We are dedicated to fostering a community of engaged, inspired, and empowered students. We are proud to be part of a team committed to providing a dynamic, supportive environment that encourages each student to reach their full potential.
In the senior years, our focus is on preparing students not only for academic success but also for life beyond high school. We offer a diverse range of pathways, from academic programs and vocational education to co-curricular activities and leadership opportunities, all designed to equip students with the skills and confidence they need for a successful future.
At Woodville High School, we believe in holistic education that nurtures the whole individual. Our students are encouraged to explore their passions, develop critical thinking, and engage in real-world learning experiences that build resilience, integrity, adaptability, and a sense of responsibility. With the support of dedicated teachers and staff, every student is empowered to pursue excellence, embrace challenges, and grow into thoughtful, compassionate young adults.

At Woodville High School, we understand that by the time students reach their senior years, they benefit most from a learning environment that is engaging, suited to their unique skills, and fosters independence.
Academic rigour, initiative and self-discipline are central to life at the senior levels with a cooperative team culture supporting each student’s journey for success. We are a school that values and celebrates diversity in culture, interests and skills and we encourage celebration of this breadth of difference.
With the support of our dedicated staff, insights from industry professionals, and a broad selection of subjects, we provide a personalised education that aligns with each student’s interests, aspirations and strengths. Working closely with students and their families, we build a structure that maximises opportunities, nurtures passions, and prepares students with the capabilities and dispositions needed for success.
We look forward to partnering with our community to continue to build a dynamic, inclusive and welcoming school that nurtures belonging, transformative growth and success.

In Summary
- SACE Completion
- Successful completion of the Certificate III
- Selected subjects (C plus grade required)
It is important that students, with the support of their families, begin to plan possible career options and pathways of study. Experience has shown us that students make quality decisions when they have a knowledge of personally relevant tertiary, industry and vocational pathways, an accurate understanding of the programs and subjects offered at the school, and have an awareness of the capabilities and skills essential for their future.
