AIMS

Together we will create a positive and productive environment in which you can maximise your learning and achieve your goals. Our vision is a centre which promotes the graduate habits of perseverance, critical and creative thinking, and respecting others. Our aim is to help students develop motivation, organisation, independence and support them to achieve their personal best. We believe that every student can learn and achieve success and we encourage a growth mindset. These are qualities you will take with you into further study and work and they will enable you to flourish and achieve success in your chosen pathway.

MENTORING

Year 12 is an exciting year for students but it can also be a demanding one. To support students to achieve their best in their final year, Home Group teachers are replaced by Mentor teachers. Each Year 12 student has a knowledgeable, experienced teacher who works alongside them to guide them through the opportunities and challenges of Year 12 and plan for their future studies. Mentors work with a small group of students in weekly Pathways pastoral care lessons, and meet with each student individually every two weeks to support and monitor their progress.
