The Woodville High School Old Scholars Association exists for past WHS students and friends in continuing their connection with their old school and its history. Its purpose is to provide a means to meet and celebrate their school memories, reminiscing experiences of it through events and gatherings.
Currently the Association runs approximately three events during each year including an Annual Dinner, luncheons and excursions. The Woodville High School Old Scholars Association was reformed in 1991 and has continued to thrive since then. Newsletters are sent throughout each year to almost 500 recipients, and its financial membership ($20/year) provides the main source of income to the Association. The Association generously supports the school through annual donations and is active in supporting the schools programmes. |

REMINDER...LAST CHANCE TO BOOK FOR ANNUAL DINNER – TUESDAY 13 AUGUST 2024 This is a FINAL REMINDER to book (if you have not already done so) for our Old Scholars 2024 Annual Dinner on Tuesday 13 August 2024. It’s only a few weeks away. We will finalise bookings in advance so register by no later than 6 August 2024. 1960’s scholar Professor Phil Broadbridge is our guest speaker. Expect another high-quality meal and evening with friends old and new alike. Cost remains at 2023 prices. The best item of School memorabilia will win a door prize – so come prepared with an old badge, an old photo or even an old school report! 2024 Membership subscriptions now due We have kept our 2024 membership subscriptions at the 2023 price – an affordable $20. Please renew now to keep our finances in good shape. Details below. Diarise three more events. *SPECIAL EVENT NOW CONFIRMED* Port Adelaide Football Club – Tour hosted by David Hutton and Tim Ginever – 10am Friday 11 October 2024. Meet at Alberton Oval reception. A tour of facilities old and new followed by lunch (at own expense) in the Port Club. No charge, but to manage numbers and catering let our Secretary Di Cocks know of intended attendance. Register early. Semaphore Carousel Evening – Saturday 16 November from 5.30pm. Adults $10, school age children $2. Unlimited rides. BYO drinks and food. Great family night.
